Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
the snow around us on the banks of Lake Conroe is rapidly departing .... back home they've had days of rain but not much ice/snow .... the first two pictures below were taken this morning show our driveway at home .... the last 3 were taken the area around our camper .... a regular breakfast started off our day, where we go from here is still very much open to question .... our last hard freeze in this string of very cold weather should take place tonight

This is a telephoto shot. The neighbors house is about 100 yards away. Yes that is junk sticking in the ground. Left over bed frame rails.

It was 27° this morning. Right now it's a balmy 38°. Fixed bacon, eggs, toast, and coffee this morning. Getting ready to go up in the attic to bypass leak #9. Hope there aren't any more.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Was in the teens this morning, up to 28° and they say 32°later.
Back down in the single digits tonight, then tomorrow starts the warming trend.
Tues. is due to be 59 and then 61 on Wed.
Yep, sounds about right for Tennessee.

You know it's coming out of a cold spell when you check the temp and see 14° and your first thought is "Sweet! It's warming up!" Next week highs in the 50's. Bring it on!!!!
Coffee as good as ever. Best of luck to all you guys our there today.

27F this morning, heading to 31. Breakfast at our favorite little diner/coffee shop this morning and then maybe make smoke this afternoon. Getting lots of shooting in these days. I also found a place to buy Ballistol in bulk here in Canada. A sewing machine shop of all places. May just order a case of 12 16oz aerosols. Tea time, then out to feed the hay-burners. I have a box set of 600 old TV westerns; been watching the Last of the Mohicans with Lon Chaney as Hawkeye's Native American friend. Show was in the 50's and most was shot in southern Ontario.

Morning, 12° when I got up earlier, but it's up to 21° and should make it to near 40.
Mid 50's tomorrow, that'll get rid of most of this white dirt.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
28 heading to 34 and overcast. Sure would like to see some sun. Very pretty with the snow still in the trees but tomorrow’s wind predictions will eliminate that. Warming up this upcoming week to the 40’s. Whoopee.
On the hunt for a scope for my Henry 41 due to be picked up next weekend from lay away jail. Pretty slim picking out there. I’m going to head into Spokane later to check a couple of shops.
Nice to see most everybody is starting to warm up.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Got up to 37* yesterday, started out at 24* this AM. It is up to 42* now. The sun melted most of the streets off yesterday. Yards still full of snow and ice. We only had cold H20 in the new bathroom, had to put an electric heater in the tank closet to help thaw out the hot water line. Except for the 2 faucets outside, no leaks so far.
! Keeping fingers crossed. Supposed to get drizzle and fog tonight with temps in mid-thirties. Saying we will get back to the 60's by Tuesday. Only in Texas you can go from sub zero temps for 8 days, then hop right to spring temps. I love Texas. Born & Bred here!!!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another roaring wind today, temps in the 30's and a 70+ mph wind. Tea time, then out to do chores. Had planned a range trip again, but we'll see how the wind goes today.
