Love me a Whooper now & then.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Re: What's for supper?
Just Burger King or all fast food places? Before the Covid and especially before I retired I had burgers several times a week. I prefer Jack in the Box for chains, liked our new Carl's but they've gone down hill lately. Best place now is a local mom and pop drive in, great burgers and in-house made batter dipped onion rings. Stopped by a couple days ago and was a sign that said closed due to Covid. They are a husband and wife operation, no employees so hope they're both OK.
Been to Red Robin a few times and they have excellent but expensive burgers and onion rings.

Re: What's for supper?
is your power back on yet ..
Re: What's for supper?
No power yet. 700 am here Wed. I here some places in town have it back on. The propane lines have been crazy long. Got some in Corpus yesterday took us about an hour or more in line. I will admit they were really getting with the show and filling them as fast as they could. I bought a battery charger for my neighbor across the street as he wanted one. He offered to pay for it before I bought it. When I got back he wanted to give me money for it told him no way the price of that charger was cheap compared to helping me out by letting us change the batteries off his generator. Right now that is saving us. People down here are just amazing how great they are.

Re: What's for supper?
I use to go to Jack in the Box when I was a kid working in Kent Washington. They were open all night. Get off 2 am go get a jumbo jack with cheese. Washed it down with a Rainier, Olympia, or whatever we could get. Haven’t had one in years.dave77 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 9:55 pmJust Burger King or all fast food places? Re: What's for supper?
I prefer Arby's. They have some great sandwiches, but I don't care much for their fries.
Also Wendy's has a most excellent Chicken Sandwich with jalapenos, and their Chili pretty good too.
Unfortunately when we're on the road Denny's seem to be dominate. I do like their Southwest Skillet.
It has chorizo and a lot of peppers and potatoes along with the eggs.

Re: What's for supper?
Last night was simple spaghetti. Brown a pound of ground beef and a half pound of ground Italian Sausage, drain, add a jar of Ragu sauce, simmer. Boil spaghetti, drain and add to meat sauce, simmer. Frozen Texas Toast, place on cookie sheet, add lots of mozzarella and shredded parmesan cheese and bake for 5 min at 425. Then place under broiler until cheese browns. Eat! Add a salad if wanted.
