Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
That makes it a sad day Hatch. My boys had a couple early pony cars. One almost identical to yours but a 65.
I had a 74 Stingray, but after many years of sitting in the garage I finally sold it. I guess I just got over the thrill
of driving it.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Well snow and ice in forecast next couple days. Got the generator gassed up and checked out so will see how the weather pans out. Luckily we have natural gas central heat so my small generator should be able to run it since the power is mostly to run the blower. It is on a standard 20 amp/ 120 circuit.

Already have drunk a pot of Folgers Black Satin. Mostly cloudy with 23* and chill of 10*. Forecasted to get around 7 or 8 real degrees with chills 15 to 20 below. Haven't seen temps like this since early 1970s.

20 degrees and everything is covered with 1/2" of ice. I'd build a fire, but I neglected to bring in dry firewood when I had a chance. We've already wiped out a pot of Hunter Bay Back Country from MT.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
First snow of the winter, it'll last about 3 days then back to rain

Ha. This morningvearly I mentioned I had a heifer up so is she had calving issues I wouldn't be following her around the field in zero weather. So when I got over to that farm and went outvto plug the tractirvin to warm it up I heard her moo. And I said to myself, that sure sounds like a momma talking to her baby to me. So I shined my flashlight in th o the corralbpen and sure enough she had a new baby and it was standing there suckibg on her. Yippee for that. One less thing yo worry about with this bad weather coming in.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Well they are still calling for serious cold ( to me, perhaps below zero) for this Sunday and Monday and a foot of snow by Wed so I'm saying that meets the level that you give up and call it wintertime...
I will try to hurry about today and get some hay put out for cows at my place and for the heifers so that I can just be spending my time unrolling hay to the main herd for those three rough days. Glad its for a week or less ( I hope) ... and not a long term mode such as ranch roper deals with all the time .....I like being a softy and don't wish to give up my postion!...
At least my coffee is still good... have a good day everyone....

Folgers and cookies.
Taking my Explorer to the shop today to correct a brake problem.
Still looks like another week or more of sub zero temps.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Not looking good for our area Saturday. Major ice storm is forecast for Central/Southside Va. with 1/2 to 3/4 inch of ice which is not good for trees and powerlines. Getting my gas grill ready for emergency use and hopefully I will be able to run the generator enough to keep some heat in the house if needed.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently it’s 9 with a windchill of -5. In other words for RR “a nice start to spring
” Supposed to get into the teens for a high and stay cold for another day then a gradual warm up. No plans for the day to speak of.
Forty, your mustang looks like a chained up monster just waiting to break out.
Hoping you get some warmer weather so the beast can roam.
Last night we said goodbye to our car and the driver who picked it up is from Miami. I don’t think he was very impressed with Deer Park, WA as it was 13* with a 20 mph NE wind blowing as he loaded the car.
