Yup, the bologna was the real thing all right. Carol fixed it tonight with baked beans and it was good.

Bowl of chilli, no beans, crackers, diet coke. I survived. This wasn't hot. I like it hot enough to burn the hair off your tongue.

Al, got a friend down there in Texas, he's part Navajo, he says beans don't go in chili.
But like you, we always had beans in our chili.

My wifes green chili receipt uses Hatch Green chili in the large cans. Those chilis come whole. But if you just want to taste them before make a batch you can buy a small can of diced green chili at walmart. Make an omlette with some there good. Right BRM

Sorry to differ guys but my beans have no chili. I’m the biggest spice whimp ever. I’ve tried and tried to like chili particularly as it’s always served in deer and elk camp but just can’t get past the taste of chili powder. For me, ketchup is spicy. My wife thinks I’m nuts and she would know.

A Texas friend of mine kept telling me how great green chili was, so he made some, and I couldn't really tell any difference.
It was still good though.

Had chicken fried steak last night. Hadn't had one for a long time. Who knows what will be on the menu tonight. I'll be glad when we get our kitchen back.

I’m trying more prime instead of select. The last steak was prime and I liked the taste but didn’t like the cut. This time I bought the leaner cut.
