Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We get our eggs from my neighbor who raises chickens, fresh from the hen, better than store bought.

Mark, I'll eat 'em how ever, scrambled, fried over easy to well done, especially well done when making a sandwich.
Boiled, deviled,
, the only way that I have never tried is pouched, or raw.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We get some from a neighbor also, but production is down at the moment, "cold weather" maybe.
So we still buy some from the grocery.

What I don't understand, is people who would order an egg white muffin from Micky D's? Why not just get the muffin alone? There is no flavor in an egg w/o the yolk.

I mentioned I was watching "Cattle Empire" made in 1958 staring Joel McCrea .... he came up during a time when there were a bunch of good actors playing parts in Western Movies

23 this am, on the way to 53. I'm headed to the VA this am, for my 2 week visit. Rest of the day, undecided.

Folgers and chocolate chip cookies.
-7 this morning and supposed to get to a boiling high of 2 above today.
The next week also looks frigid.
Retirees breakfast this morning at the Cracker Barrel.
This afternoon I have my yearly physical.
Gun club meeting tonight.
Sure am busy for being retired.

A fresh -17 and a high expected of 7, partly cloudy and very little wind. Still trying to get generator working but garage is not heated so that might slow going. Everybody have a great day!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Awoke to 54° and supposedly headed to 70° today. Cold front moving through late week to bring temps down. Cereal, banana, and coffee. Going to do some guitar work today and let my whims take over after that. Oh, got a phone call and my second round of Covid vaccine has been rescheduled to Friday (1 day earlier).

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Was 19 now 21 heading to 30. Our big cold snap arrives on Wednesday with some of Ranch Ropers cold arctic air seeping southwest thru the mountain gaps helped along with a northeast wind. Brrrrrr but warmer than others have reported. Nice fire in the stove and hot Folgers nearby. Soon some breakfast, probably just some Rasin Bran and toast.
No plans for the day other that to pull some brass out of the tumbler and let it start drying.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
-4 this morning with clear skies and light wind. We will go above zero today,
but dive back down below zero tonight and then really into the deep freeze for
another week. We're getting January in February.
Folgers and Granola this morning.
Candida is back so no cookies.
Had my annual physical yesterday. Passed all those dementia questions they ask
and blood pressure and everything else checked out fine.
First Covid shot on Thursday.
