Post by Grunt67 » Thu Jan 28, 2021 7:18 pm

One year ago today, maybe, a day that will live in infamy, I joined the Henry forum. It has been a very enjoyable experience, and I have come to know some fine gals & guys.
Have to say, I've learned a few things along the way .
So, just wanted to says thanks folks for allowing me into your club

You made me look at my join date as I knew it was about a year ago. Well, dang it I missed it. It’s been a real enjoyable year posting and reading the posts here on this forum. In the past I’ve been active on a few others, S&W, Marlin, etc and I believe this is the best of them all. I like the fact we keep politics out of the discussions but I must admit I have to consciously do so. I enjoy the banter about weather, supper and such just as much as I enjoy the more technical posts.

I guess this is facebook and twitter for old guys.

Thanks to the creator and the mods who keep this place so much fun.

I missed my two year anniversary as well. I have been on quite a few forums over the years, but this seems to be the best.
I was on the Ruger Forum for quite a while and I still drop in once in a while, but didn't find them as friendly as this bunch.
I am on several RV forums but they are not a friendly group at all.
I do enjoy you folks with my morning coffee. :D

Gene, thanks for the kind words. A Veterans bond is one of a kind, that only they can understand or feel. Altho, I was drafted into
Uncle Sam's Army, I was proud to serve as my Dad did in WWII. Thank you for your service as well, Brother.
We have quite a few Vets here in the forum, I'm proud of all of them.
