Heading for the Great Smoky Mountains. Tues. AM. Coming back on Fri. Not going for the shows, etc., just nature, wildlife.
Make a tour thru Cades Cove, my fav. place on the planet.
If snow doesn't have the mountain pass closed, probably drive over to Cherokee, NC.
Love the mtns.

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Yep, he was a character for sure. Made me tired watching him work. Man could have learned a lot
from him.

Trip was fine, uneventful. Temp in the 60s, partly sunny.
There's a small river beneath my balcony. Kinda nice to watch it go by. Got geese, ducks.
I tried to upload a short video. but couldn't get it to work.
Cheers......

If you get to Cherokee, stop in a shop called "Twisted Sisters". It has got some interesting yard art and other unusual stuff. We always end up buying something. Last time a pair of jeweled peacocks. Named them Sonny and Cher.

Glad to see it was an uneventful drive.
The only way I've been able to upload video was to go through You Tube.
I believe that's what forty does also.

I did stop in. That's a big place. Little bit of everything.
Anything from an AK to key chain. Quite a few guns, and actually some ammo.
Thanks, Geo. Worth the stop.

The plan for today is cancelled. Hwy 441 between Gatlinburg and Cherekee. NC is closed due to heavy snow. Not unexpected. Have to come up with something else.
Temp here now is 31. Wind chill in the 20s.
Maybe I'll just be lazy today. LOL

I've driven it many times .... it has several stretches that are really fun to ride in a sports car or on a bike
