Rain is still eluding us, Radar shows it all around again today and yesterday, but NOT HERE. 1 Farmer I know said
if it does not rain a fair amount soon, He may lose 50K in corn alone !! And about 91 and HUMID, YUK.
There's a 60%+ chance of rain for the next 7 days, WE"LL SEE !!

Good morning all from Jonesboro, GA. Not at all cool this morning, 75 degrees, overcast and humid. No rain yesterday, and not a good chance of rain today. Starting to dry out again. Rain would be a welcome relief. Headed out this morning on my pawn shop run. I normally make a pawn shop run every two weeks or so. Most of the time, I find nothing, but every now and again, I find a diamond among the rocks. Take care and be safe.

Good morning everyone. Coffee feels great today. Nothing on the agenda today just relaxing. Played a late 16 holes of golf last night before it got dark. Not bad for a 5:06pm tee time!

Enjoy the weekend guys....

Good morning all from Jonesboro, GA. Frankly, it is beautiful this morning. 74 degree this morning, and yeah, it is hot and humid, but that is August in Jonesboro. Headed to see the grand kids today. They will be a handful, but hey, love seeing them. Everyone take care and be safe.

Good morning all. Having some nice percolated coffee in my 85 Scout Jamboree mug. It's going to be a mixed bag here today. Hopefully I'll get some work accomplished. Enjoy your day.

Coffee and morning chores are done. I'm about to make our usual Sunday brunch.

The weeds in the backyard are too high but the rabbits are enjoying my procrastination. Heat indexes have been well over 100* for a long while and today and tomorrow will be the same. Later in the week it may be cooler and less humid and I'll finally get my butt in gear and do some badly needed lawn care.

Today will be spent indoors.

Morning everyone, trying this new K-Cup coffee, Java Gold Dark Roast for the Keurig coffee maker. I still find Ollie's Outlets to be the best store to buy the 80 count boxes of K-Cups at $24.79 for a box. But I realize that not everyone likes the K-Cup coffee or has an Ollie's nearby. It is to hit 92* here today with a strong afternoon thunderstorm predicted. We had a good one last night but the humidity is back today. With the jet stream predicted to drop lower this week, the thunderstorms are to become more frequent. We have been doing a good amount of watering to the flowers, shrubs and lawn.

Finally got some much needed rain yesterday. Cut weeds down Fri. Watching
news and drinking tea. Too much rain in the south, all stay safe.

Good morning all. It's a nice cool 57* and foggy here this morning but expected to hit 80* later. No plans for today except a COSCO run this morning and watching the Mariners game this afternoon.

Good morning all from Jonesboro, Georgia. OK, it is just flat out hot this morning! It is 81 degrees, headed toward 94 for a high today. The humidity is lower than normal this morning, but dang, it is just hot. August in Georgia, a good time to visit another part of the country. On the bright side, the coffee is excellent this morning.

Come visit Southern California! It's fairly warm but at least there is no humidity. Leave your guns at home (except your Henry's) most of them are not welcome here sadly....

Cool this morning. Temps supposed to warm up this week. 80-90 range. Tired today, moved cows all weekend and played 2 evening shows. One was a dinner theater show and last night was a campfire show for a media company from LA. Lots of fun. Having coffee in Henry mug. Have a good day.

Morning all from Jonesboro, GA. Just another typical August day in the 'boro. Temp is 76, we have a 25% of rain today....somewhere...most like not at my house. Coffee is made and being consumed, breakfast will be in the plate shortly. Wanted to go to the range today, but a trip to the dentist office is on the schedule instead. Take care and be safe.

Good morning! The day is starting off nice and cool but should get up to 90 in no time. Running this air conditioner like no other this summer. Electric bill will be eating into the old ammo fund...

Good morning all from Jonesboro, GA. No need in giving the temp, just hot and humid. The trip to the dentist office yesterday did not go as planned. Ended up having an old root canal tooth extracted. Whooppeee! Thankfully, not pain, no swelling, and avoided an abscess, so all if good. Take care and be safe.
