First time with powder coats

Post by Oldbrass » Fri Jan 15, 2021 5:38 pm

Bullets arrived yesterday from DG bullets. A thousand 158 SWC powder coats. Thought I'd give the press a test run ,These are very easy to load I think I'm a convert. Stuffing these into my last 400 38 special cases with magnum primers/ 4.5 unique (the mag primers and unique are dandy) I test fired a few into the back wood pile. Wife said the green bullets are pretty, such a girl. Still have 2500 magnum sp primers and 8 1/2 pounds unique. Rumor is there's an ammo shortage 😂😂

Looking good,
I had some Powdercoated bullets purple color, shot great but the downside was it looks like a lipstick in brass.

Let’s see....

1000 bullets
8.5 lbs. of powder
2500 primers

For you, an ammo shortage is “pretty” much a rumor.

I like green too! :D
