Brass

Post by ol'pole » Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:35 pm

Just got my order of 500 45 colt brass from Starline, are they purty :D :P . I ordered them just before Thanksgiving. Checked them for length like I always do, very consistent most @ 1.272+. I guess it's time to stuff some  Ordered some more marbles from T&B to send down range

Congrats. I've always been impressed with the quality of Starline brass. I bought some 45 Colt from them in March of last year and have been stuffing them since then.

Right now I'm waiting for a bullet order to show up. They are in USPS limbo. From what I've learned, USPS is 2 - 3 weeks behind in getting packages delivered. Fortunately I ordered proactively and I still have some from my last order.

Starline brass is as good as anyone's in my book. Reasonable prices too. I'm working with 150 pcs Starline 45/70 now.
50 are once fired, 100 new.
I usually have to trim the 45/70 brass a bit, when new.
Usually measure .005 to .010 over.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

its good to hear for sure that Starline is shipping ..... hopefully sooner rather than later they will be able to considerably reduce their backlog

Jim, I bought the 100 pcs of Starline, maybe a month or so ago.
I think the left overs sold out immediately after that.
Have to keep a daily eye online.
