Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
If you are reading this you are still here in the game, enjoy where you are and do good. A huge rock pile out in my field started with one rock, ( I know, I was there) . The rock pile will last longer than me.... good deeds will ripple on down the line long after the rock pile dissappears under the dirt. We all need to start those types of ripples in today's world.

It's 19° in my backyard and it will remain chilly today, only rising into the mid-thirties by afternoon. CT skies will be cloudy for most of the day.

30 here, on the way to the VA this am. May run into a few snow flakes. Another cold, gloomy day.

Woodinville and the region has a flooding and landslide warning for the next three days. The ground is already soaked.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Morning, got a little snow coming down. It's 30° at the moment and suppose to make 36° later.
May be a good day to stay inside and start a new puzzle.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Awoke to 35° this morning. It rained all day yesterday not stopping until after dark. I went to sleep early since the night before was restless. We didn't get any snow but a few miles north of us did. It made the news of course. Any hint of snow in these parts is a big deal. Made steel cut oats, toast, and coffee for breakfast. No snow here but alot of rain yesterday on the Gulf. Windy and only 50 today here after starting the day out at 40. Hey Randy not shooting off the back porch today? After messing with one of those puzzles you will be ready for a shot or two it will take some pressure off the brain

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
20°.. colder than I thought. Supposed to get up in 50's today.... hope that be correct. Coffee is yum. ( some friends of mine had a little boy. When he got where he could talk and you asked him about what food he liked or didn't, he had only two answeres... it was either "yum" or "yuck". he he he.... got the point across) Have a good day friends. Hope your day ends up "yum" .

34 and raining so hard it sounds like a cow urinating on a rock.
Of course the original expression doesn’t use the word urinating.
Big rains today with 25-35 gusting to 55 winds expected overnight. With the soaked ground we could see trees uprooted. Might be some chain-sawing in my near future.
Meeting a guy this morning who has two boxes of Speer 308 150 sp he’s selling me. Now I can start loading for that Savage 99 I picked up. Wahoo!
My coffee is also yum and I’m expecting my day to be yum too. (From the mouths of babes

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Got down to 31° last night and is supposed to warm up to mid 50's. It's clear but the ground is still saturated from the weekends rain. Just had cereal and toast this morning for breakfast.

our first morning in Texas dawned clear and cold .... no plans to go anywhere today, do hope to begin the process of setting up our site .... a good taste of home in a breakfast of our favorite local sausage, eggs with our SPG seasoning, and Folgers (this morning in a Henry mug) .... now watching the movie Background to Danger made in 1943, staring George Raft ..

JEBar, your pic of today’s breakfast looks as good as your breakfast for dinner pic. Breakfast for dinner is one of my favorites.
