In recovery surgery went well. Two discs replaced one vertebrae fuzed. Proud owner of 2 titanium rods . Thanx everyone for the well wishes. The surgical team at Seattle VA is wonderful. On a side note if riots break out please send backup the hospital wouldn't let me bring my henry

Just one piece of advice.

Don't piss off the nurses, or the folks that feed you.
Both have ways of getting even.
For example, guess who decides when to wake you, or not, and give you a sleeping aide... And HOW to take your temp? 😈

Wish you a speedy recovery. Try to keep your sense of humor, it really helps, especially in the hospital. :D
