Hall of Fame Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda dies at 93. Not a Dodger fan but I was a fan of Tommy.

My son just called me about this. We are huge Dodger fans. Tommy will be missed. RIP Mr. Dodger.

I grew up in LA during the 60's and 70's and Tommy Lasorda will be missed. Loved by all even those he defeated on the field. RIP Tommy Lasagne (with great affection.)

When I was a young kid back in the late 60’s early 70’s Tommy Lasorda was the manager of the Spokane Indians, the Dodgers AAA farm team. He was a great manager and took the Indians to the Pacific Coast League title in 1970. (I had to look that up, I remembered the Indians were very successful but I was too young to remember the exact details.) Along with Mr. Lasorda I remember players Bobby Valentine, Ron Cey and Steve Garvey all playing for the local team. I looked up the rosters for those years and saw many names I know from the big league but honestly I don’t remember them as Spokane Indians. But I sure do remember Tommy, Steve, Ron and Bobby.

RIP Tommy, you had a good run and brought great joy to millions.

I use to watch those Spokane Indians play the Seattle Rainers. Boy now that brings back some memories.

I'm not a Dodgers fan, nor a baseball fan, but Tommy was the real deal. Heck of a manager. He left a mark for sure.
