our departure for Texas is scheduled for one week tomorrow .... with it being forecasted to be rainy and cool today and tomorrow, the urgency for completing a number of pre-trip items Saturday is growing stronger and stronger ....

This area in general down here is more money than staying where you are at Jim. Even the RV park down the road is pricey for what they offer. I have free cable tv here and the internet is outstanding. These spaces are all concrete and fully furnished. But I dont have one of those fancy pullin trucks like you do so the money I saved there I can spend on a spot

Im sure it will as I know you take good care of it. My Dodge gets all the TLC it deserves. At the enormous cost of the new ones I will do what it takes to make this one last a long time

the hold up has been and still is a decision where to mount with they call their TireMinder Rhino Signal Booster (ES Booster) ===> https://www.minderresearch.com/product/ ... l-booster/ ....
well, yesterday we completed the hardest part ( I hope ) of the install .... that being installing the "Rhino Signal Booster" .... the manual that came with the system states most emphatically that doing so should be completed prior to anything else .... as noted, my first choice was to put it under the rear of our Sportchassis .... when our youngest son came over and got under there, that proved to not be a good option .... way too much steel which would reduce the effectiveness of the booster .... so, we had to fall back on Plan B .... that being fastening it to the upper, stationary part of the off door side front landing gear .... to ensure it will not interfere with the automatic leveler, we need to hook up to the truck and run the front ones up and down ..... once that is confirmed, programming the TireMinder shouldn't take too long .... after heavy rain overnight, some of the tires are sitting in water and others are surrounded by it .... hopefully, it will dry out sufficiently to allow me to install the sensors tomorrow or Tuesday ....

as we've noted many times, our absolute and final plans are subject to change at any second .. ;) .. our Sportchassis is a very fine tow vehicle but on a slick surface, its all but worthless .... over time we've been caught parked in our yard by various forms of ice that have prevented us from leaving .... consequently, we now plan to pull out on Thursday instead of waiting until Friday ... hopefully Maureen will be able to get us into Heritage RV Park a day early .... losing a day means we need to kick our trip into high gear

we each have our duties .... one of hers is handling the campground bookings .... in short, she tell me where to go .. :? .. and I do go there .... she also drives the truck when we are hooking up and unhooking from the camper .... over the years that's been a show stopper in a lot of campgrounds .. :D
