The Christmas bomber is dead. DNA evidence found at the scene, matched to DNA found at his home, was matched.
Motive still not clear, and could never be, too early for anything decisive.
Human tissue was found at the scene earlier.
As usual conspiracy theories are running rampant on social media. Some are really out there.

I occasionally go on the dreaded FB, as I have a few friends there. The rest is pure junk.
This old Grunt is too old to tolerate much poop.
I'm thankful this forum is friendly, informative, and sane.

Agreed. I don't have any SM accounts, either. I trust information that is vetted; that is, confirmed by multiple, established, accredited, and reliable sources that I read, hear, or watch. Viral rumors, innuendos, constructed theories and suspicions -- the lore of clicks and "likes" on social media websites -- seriously poison the well of truth. Alternative facts do not exist. Please be critical when thinking about them.

I have not watched, read or listened to a news report in over a month. Cannot believe how much better I feel in mind and body. Since I can’t control any of it, real or fake, I intend to “social distance” myself from it. Good riddance. Life’s too short, get out and enjoy it. :)

I gave up on the news a couple months before the election. Now I only check how the Dow is doing and can tell the state of the planet in three sentences describing why the Dow is up or down.
