Anyone here keep dehydrated food or anything on hand? Or similar emergency supplies?
I don't but I have been thinking about stocking at least a three day supply.
Just looking for ideas.

decades ago I used to buy a week's worth that I used when back packing and/or tent camping .... am happy to say, we never needed it for emergency use .... frankly, back then their quality left much to be desired .... I have little doubt that they are far better today but I've not had the desire to try them again

Cheese popcorn, Krispy Kremes and I recently switched to Cheerios because they were always after me Lucky Charms!!

In the winter we try to keep some canned food stocked up. We are by no means in an isolated area, but we have had times with heavy snow and/or ice when it has been a couple of days until our roads were passable. We have also had a couple of times when we were without power for 10-12 days. Keep the generator ready to go and have some gas for the camp stove.

Actually we have lots of canned stuff too. Beans, soup, etc. Always seems to be a cupboard full. When power is out (happens frequently) we have a woodstove in the house. Can cook on it if you have to.
