Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Low 40's here this morning. Supposed to be in the mid 30's tomorrow morning. Just a bowl of cereal and toast this morning.

43, rainy, today. Colder tonite and tomorrow. Looks like winter has taken a seat, and staying a while.

39° out this morning. Breakfast is over, and I'm sitting in the waiting room at the VA. New doctor, and boy do I have a lot for her to check out. Our move is going well, but it's been hectic. Garage is getting less cluttered every day. I got my tool boxes squared away a couple of days ago. Cheers

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
it appears that winter temps have set in and have a pretty firm grip on our area .... 36 on its way to 50 with a slight chance of rain later today .... from looking at the weather radar, there ain't a cloud in the state but that can certainly change .... that temp range + or - a few degrees is forecasted to extend through New Years .... a breakfast of home smoked sausage, eggs and Folgers has kicked off the day

What’s that old song....”we’re having a heat wave”. Or something like that.....
36 heading to 39 with some 40’s in the next few days. Rained pretty good overnight but I still have a few inches of snow on the ground. The local ski resorts got a good pounding of snow so there’s that!
Enjoying my Folgers but the ole’ stomach is starting to suggest breakfast.

Got down to 31°this morning. Doesn't get that cold here very often. Had some steel cut oats and coffee for breakfast. Going to try and get some work done today but no promises!

What a difference 12months makes, this time last year temps were around 100 and we had been sitting in smoke with visibility limited to a few hundred yards for a month.
This year temps around 80 and we have had 6" of rain in 2 downpours. Biblical rain Wed with a storm dropping anything from 2-5" in a couple of hours. Varied by inches in less than a mile.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
30s today. The light snow we got yesterday is still on the ground but the roads are clear. On Vacation until after Christmas. Second weeks vacation I have had in 7 years so I feel like I am playing hooky. Did my running around yesterday so I need to focus on getting my shop straightened out some more. There is still a bunch of stuff I need to disperse like my RC planes, cameras, and jewelry supplies. I need to narrow my attention to the things which are really important to me at this stage of may life and get rid of more of the distractions limiting my effectiveness. Sounds good anyway.....

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
cool start to a cool day .... 36 on its way to 49 with a subfreezing temp tonight .... guess the good news is, no precip .... until a few minutes ago a morning trip to Sam's was due after my wife makes a trip to DMV this morning .... we've decided to put if off until after New Years .... one of the nice things about being retired is with our schedule its no problem to plug things in or unplug them .... with that, another day with nothing pressing on tap .... eggs, home smoked sausage and Folgers
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
The heat wave continues, 33 heading to 37 or so with some on and off rain. Extended forecast is for more seasonal temps next week with lows in the teens and highs in the 20’s. I guess I’ll enjoy the hear wave while it lasts.
Not sure what today will bring, maybe start some ladder loads for my 357 big boy and find it’s sweet spot.
Started a fire in the stove this morning but it’s starting to cook us out, might not keep it going.
After a two week shutdown due to Covid the Gonzaga Bulldog men’s basketball team plays number 3 Iowa tomorrow morning. Could be a tough game without much practice for the last two weeks. Be good to watch again. Go Zags.

Artic blast coming next week, just in time for Christmas, highs around freezing, possibly a few flakes. Personally, I prefer around 70ish.
