Xtreme plated 230 gr. for .45 ACP. Last time I bought they were 30 bucks cheaper. :( Have a full box of them still.

I have never used Extreme bullets, are they any good compared to Hornady, Sierra, Speer, etc.

Ive used them alot RnG. There great bullets but you cant really compare them to the ones you have listed. Xtreme bullets are like Berrys and only copper plated. You need to shoot them at cast bullet speeds.

Ahhh, got it, thanks Big Al, I am playing hell finding any 124 grain 9mm FMJ rounds. Interestingly I just purchased 1k rounds of Horandy 124 grain JHPs with no problem.

I use Xtreme a lot for .45 ACP and some .45 Colt as in my Alaskan since it is not to friendly with .452 sized cast lead bullets.
They shoot great out of my .45 ACP guns.

I've seen this price gouging thru out the web. I've found a new source for lead 500, 250 rnfp 15-16 bhn ran me $60 delivered in November. T&B bullets in Sweet Home OR. Very nice and very consistent. Haven't shot any yet but they look great

Xtreme bullets are very good for plated. I liked them better than Berry's, in 230 gr. 45 ACP, but there prices kept going up. So I switched to the polymer coated bullets and have had great result. For 45 ACP I've been using Blue Bullets and there bulk box of 2025 bullets is $218 shipped. They are very consistent, load well and I've never had any leading issues. Right now like most suppliers they are backed-up.

My HiPoint 45 Carbine likes the plated bullets. I tried plain cast lead but those don't feed as well denting up the nose of bullet causing a feeding issue.

You definitely have to go with what works in you shooting irons.
