Re: Our mornin Coffee
Getting horses used to gunshots is one of the first tasks. Shouldn't take too long. Then I plan to spend lots of range time to become as proficient as I can. I've always wanted a rifle, so I signed up for the course and took my tests.

Re: The Weather Channel
Well it's raining here now.
Was going to do a little shooting this afternoon.
But guess it will have to wait.
Happy Easter

Ya, there's lots of hunters here of course but Canada has rules for rules when it comes to guns. I have what's known as a non-restricted license. Basically some rifles or shotguns. You can get a restricted license for hand guns but you need another special permit every time you transport it anywhere. Like to a range. But if you ever had it anywhere that you did not have permission for, bye bye license, likely forever. Never mind the part where you are arrested.

Whoa, RanchRoper!!
"Rules for rules."
That's a pretty stiff special permit they've saddled you with -- need a permit just to transport the hand gun to a range. I thought the US rules/regs for intra and inter-state transport were complicated enough. Sure would hitch up my range time being up north.
(Puns intended).

Re: Our mornin Coffee
Evening coffee here for me~~~
My husband went back to work today on Easter. He was off for a week.
The property that we looked at was not what we expected up north. Par for the course.
I am planning on a future retirement trip or something special for HIM that we have discussed too.
I think that he will end up wanting to stay around here instead of taking a longer trip when he officially retires.
Meanwhile, my older sister and I may meet up with my older brother and take a trip back east. Both of them still live on the East Coast.
Dinner? I have leftovers here and an Easter egg!

I saw on the Drudg report today that the mid west and north east are going to get hit with a polar vortex soon.
The West is going to heat up.

Rain most of tonight into tomorrow morning with a low of 49* tonight and up to 62* tomorrow. Soon time to fertilize the roses, already put lime on the lawn and cut it once so far.
