28° in Piney Flats TN. We spent the 1st night in our new house. No furniture yet, but the movers are doing that today. 1st cup of Joe is down, and I'm slow getting around.
Finally went to the VA yesterday after 6 days of working with hurt ribs. They did a Cat scan and confirmed 2 broken ribs. Number 6 and 7. Also found L1 and L2 vertebrae cracked. The found my spleen enlarged, as well as my thyroid. They also found pallops on my left lung. Jeez, it's Hell getting old. Well gotta go, I've got miles to go before sundown. Cheers

That’s just wrong 28 and flurries. After putting up with all the humidity and hurricanes in their seasons you should be rewarded with a nice mild winter season.

28 here in the Inland Pacific Northwest (same temp as NC, go figure) heading to 40. Rain/snow/freezing rain forecasted overnight. Not much accumulation if it falls as snow. Not much on tap for today.

31 degrees this morning, gray and cloudy with a high of maybe 40. Beats snow.
Coffee and Key Lime Pie.
Got the shop gutters cleaned yesterday and today not much going on.
Usually Tuesday morning is shooting day, but the guys all agreed to meet tomorrow
as it's supposed to be over 60 degrees.

yet another BOOOOO CHILLLLLY morning in the neighborhood .... 28 once again this morning but it is supposed to be a bit warmer 53 later today .... once again no rain on tap .... no more subfreezing temps showing on the 10 day forecast ....

Supposed to get in the fifties today so the gang is going to meet at the range.

33 heading to 38 with a dry day on tap after overnight rains. Several dry days ahead with possible plowing depth snows coming next week.

Plans today are to assemble the Craftsman tool chest I picked up yesterday and transfer my shooting/reloading “stuff” from my inefficient dresser to the chest. Should be enjoyable, love to organize “stuff”.

For now, just enjoying my coffee and fire which is starting to cook us out of the house. Pretty warm out there for a fire.

Snowing now. Sounds like our gun range stays open during the new lockdown. Essential service because the RCMP and Game wardens use it for practice. Guess I’ll shoot my BP rifle on Friday!

Had to get up early this morning to take my monthly eye injections. It was 46°. Kind of ruins most of the day. Anyway it's warmed up nicely now. Just had a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

Thanks guy's for the encouragement. It's been one heck of a 2 week period. I can't seem to slow down, even with them ribs rubbing. It'll all be good. Calling my doctor tomorrow to get on a schedule. Wish I could do some shootin. Lost my range with the move. Not sure where I'll go now. There's a BLM Range within 30 miles. Once this house is back to normal I'll probably venture out once a week. Cheers

Under a snowfall warning tonight. About a foot by morning maybe. That's ok, don't have to go anywhere...had take out tonight from our favorite local restaurant. Going there for breakfast on Saturday before they have to close for 4 weeks and lay off the servers.
