Three days of shooting.

Post by Sir Henry » Sun Nov 29, 2020 2:09 pm

The weather is great today with rain tomorrow. Then for the next three days sunshine with freezing temperatures at night and highs in the upper 40’s.

What a great timeframe to take advantage of; I can have multiple days to plan for shooting. Since I have new scopes I’m going over what to shoot. I’m thinking three rifles in three days with all needing to be sighted-in.

Also in my thoughts is to limit my ammo to 900 CCI mini-mags. That’s 300 rounds a day and I’m planning on several hours each day. There is a good chance all three rifles will be H001’s with HV rounds being the most shot round in most. I’ve only been shooting SV for about four years.

Next up is an hour of winter storm cleanup outside. This is the view from my dinning window.

Can't think of a better way to spend 3 days, do you shoot on your property ?

Our ranges close during deer season so I'll probably be shooting with the guys on Tuesday. If it's not too cold.
Been a few weeks.
I also like CCI, still have a few Stingers.

No. The range is about 40 miles round trip through the back country roads.

I’ll be sighting-in three rifles and could use a spotter.

That’s a beautiful picture out your dining room window. Almost surreal. The lighting with the light fog is perfect.

Enjoy your shooting and a few dry days. Same thing here on the east side, several clear days ahead but we didn’t have to suffer the wet like you did.
