Looking into getting a 44 mag. Specifically the all weather. Anyone have one?

we have a Henry BBS 44 Mag that has proven to be an exceptional rifle .... Henry chambers 44 Mag in more different lines than any other caliber .... our members own most all of them and I'm sure our All Weather guys will be along shortly

Well in answer to your question yes, there are lots here, maybe instead you should ask some specific questions. Hunting? Target? Camp defense? Truck gun? Wall hanger? What is your intent?

Henry makes an excellent 44 Mag in all configurations. I like the all weather, beautiful rifles.

Not an "all weather" but I love my 44 carbine!

This would be for hunting. I’ve taken 3 deer this season with each of my lever actions. A marlin 1895G 4570, Winchester 94 3030, and a Rossi r92 357. Now lookijg to own my first Henry, in a 44 to hunt with and the all weather seems awesome for my climate. Humid

Hopefully you can find one. Henry is not taking anymore orders till after the first of the year my dealer told me.

My only caution is about barrel twist. Most Henry .44s came with the old slow twist rifling. The newest ones come with 1 in 20 which will stabilize heavy bullets properly. For deer with standard weight 240 gr bullets, that would make no difference, but if you also plan to use it for big bears with up to 300 gr bullets, a fast twist is better. Or your .45/70 is way better😳. I bought my Big Boy X for campground defense and I really wanted that faster twist rate.

GB would probably be about the quickest way. Good Luck and will be waiting to see the pictures of her.
