New Henrys

Post by BigAl52 » Mon Nov 23, 2020 12:02 pm

Just got this email from Henry. Many people will be buying new guns as the sidegate line has now expanded. Single Shot line has added new calibers.
Henry Repeating Arms
New Side Gates
Dear Henry Dealers,
By popular demand, we are excited to announce to you a large transition in our product line to include side loading gates on all steel-framed centerfire lever-action rifles and shotguns that did not already have this feature. Additionally, we are announcing 3 new extensions of our H015 Single Shot lineup with new calibers and configurations.
With this announcement, we are officially discontinuing the "legacy" models that these new upgraded models are replacing. Any open orders that we have for the legacy models from our wholesale distributors are being closed and new orders will need to be placed through your distributor(s) for the upgraded versions.
These new models are shipping now and are available through your preferred Henry distributor.

That’s good news. Thanks

Received the same e-mail Al. Lots of side gates coming out. Still don't mind my tube feeders tho.

delighted to hear of this expansion and have no doubt their sales will take a major upturn .... as for me, I'm perfectly happy with our tube feeders ... it will be interesting to see if there is an increase in the number of used Henry rifles traded in on the new models :?:

I’m sure I’m safe assuming that Henry will keep the tube feed in all the new side loaders but I sure hope so. I got tired of chewing up my thumb feeding my Marlin 1894’s. I no longer own any and really like the tube feed in my Henry’s. But I don’t hunt with them nor do I expect to use them in a self defense scenario so the need to top off isn’t important to me but I respect others desire to do so. So, if Henry keeps the tube feed on the new side loaders everybody is happy...... :D

Ya me to on the new models. For those who waited now they will have a Henry to buy. But for me my CCH tube feed 357 will not be sold. The CCH colors on mine are outsatanding and a sidegate isnt that important to me. You aint Bill Hickok and this aint Dodge City

With Marlin in limbo until Ruger gets their act together, It's good to see Henry jump on the side gate rifles in a big way. This is terrible news for me, because now I'm going to have to buy another Henry. I know I hear a Side Gate BBS in 45 Colt with large loop, calling my name.

This is indeed news of importance but what are the additions to the single shot line?

Mike Bellm has been doing custom chambers for a while of the 350 Legend. Seems to be a new popular cartridge because of the ability to be in the AR- format. Not sure how were going to shoot them since ammo seems to be scarce.

Better be some good discount pricing on any rifles due to ammo shortages otherwise a very nice looking club to fidget with without ammo!

I think they might even phase out the .41 altogether before long. Not enough sales to justify continuing them I suspect. That's ok tho. It would increase the collector value over time, just like the Winchester 9422's and many other guns that are out of production. Unfortunately it could take a century or more for them to become a highly desired collector gun, and I don't have that much time left to me. ;)
