Had a zoom meeting last night with the Legion Post that owns our gun club. I am a board member and now I am a member of the "Holding Corporation" as well. I really didn't w ant the job but no one was coming foreword to do it, so I said OK. Anyway.....

For some reason my image did not show up in the zoom roster Just as well as they would have seen the giant martini my wife brought me. :D
Almost two hours of zoom meetings.

So last night......
A touch of Maker's Mark prior to dinner.
A cold beer with dinner.
An hour or so later in my recliner in front of the TV and with a martini..
Me to wife, "Do you have the remote?'
"No, you had it, did you lose it?'
"Of course not. I'm sure it's right here. Probably fell down into the recliner."
Feeling down in all the crevices I cannot find it.
Now Grandma is down on the floor with a flashlight looking up into the chair.
"Wait, let me turn the chair over for you."
No luck.
"Oh, wait, there's a remote finder on the receiver. I'll just hit that."
I can't hear anything.
Grandma, " I hear it. It's in the chair."
Feeling in all the crevices she can't find it either.
"Here, let me open the chair up."
Reaching into the opening between the seat and back I find the remote!!
Back into the TV watching mode now.
Grandma, "Can you stop that beeping please?"
Me, "What beeping?"
"The remote you deaf old fart!"

And so another quiet evening at home with the Cooperhawks.
Time for another martini. :D

Coop, I believe we're in the same boat when it comes to TV remote, orrrr, wifes glasses. ALWAYS losing one or the other. OK, so, yardwork is done, fixed one of the upstairs sinks. Done! Time for a double Bloody Mary, or two. If I could find the remote, might watch TV!

Or worse if remote doesn’t have a remote finder on the receiver?

Gawd, I don't know if I have either of those functions. I better ask the teenage neighbor about that. They'll know!
