25 this morning. I think with no wind the lake froze over last night, but 50s by Thursday will thaw it out again.

37 heading to the low 50’s with some sun breaks and a bit windy. More rain tonight and for the next couple of days. Last weeks snow is melting gradually but melting just the same.

Planning to process the 7.62 brass I didn’t get to yesterday and then cleaning up the garage. Mrs hatchdog is bugging me to fill up the bird feeders so that’s on the agenda too. Happy day everyone.

Carol asked me to fill ours last Wednesday. Well came to see on Thursday morning that a bear had a nice meal that night, :( . Not the first time the Shepherd hooks were flat on the ground and feeders empty!

19° on the mountain and gray sky. 1st mug of Black Rifle CO. Coffee is down. I must say it went down rather fast when I was outside with my dog. Big winds all day yesterday. Last night at around 9pm we heard something hit our metal roof. I inspected the entire area for branches on the roof, but didn't find anything. It kept bugging me cuz we both heard it hit. Finally I found the culprit. The wind was so fierce, it blew one of the upstairs window screens clean off. Got to put that back on when its light out. Cheers

30 and dark, hate these short days of winter. Heading to the mid forties with afternoon rain. Probably do some prep work in the reloading room, my bullet order from Graf and Sons has shipped so in a few days I can start loading for my M1A. Boom boom.

48 right now here 2 cups of coffee down. Just finished 2 eggs fresh from the local farm and some homemade sour dough bread. Love that stuff. Headed out to the grasslands here shortly to make some loud noise with the 338. I have some loads to test. After that smoke will be made shooting the 50 cal Hawken for a while.

unsure just how cold it got last night but know it was below freezing and we awoke to our first "killing frost" of this fall .... currently 32 on its way to 57 under a very clear Carolina Blue Sky .... not much on tap for later today, thankfully no medical appointments .... a regular breakfast has come and gone

30 and dark with daylight in the forecast! It’s supposed to be dry for the next three days with partly cloudy skies so I see my window to get my fall projects finished. Was going along just fine then a couple of snow storms derailed me. Snows almost gone, good riddance!

A little time in the reloading room early then outside to get-r-done’.
