Well, that was FUN!!

Finally had an opportunity to try out my new 44 Mag I got early this year. One of my bud’s has a pistol and rifle range on his back 40. Been looking forward to this day for a long time. I had installed Skinner peep and we sighted it in as best as we could. Looks like I need to replace the front bead with a slightly taller sight. The only issue I had was that an occasional re-load would cycle a little rough from time to time. The factory loads cycled very smoothly. I took some measurements and found the re-loads were about 3 hundreds of an inch longer than the factory loads. Next round of re-loads I will try a shorter overall length to see if that helps. Other than that we throughly enjoyed ourselves. My bud was so impressed with the Henry, he now is looking for one for himself.
Having shoulder surgery Tuesday, so it will be a couple of months before I get to plink with the 44 again.
