Outpatient Hip Replacement -- You Never Know!
Re: Outpatient Hip Replacement -- You Never Know!
I am wanting to know how you are doing Evan. It seems like too long since I have seen a post from you.
Re: Outpatient Hip Replacement -- You Never Know!
Hi, I'm around and about! Dropping in every day (almost), but usually time-constrained, so not much time for posting. And, to be honest, not much shooting/Henry activity lately, so I don't have any stories to share these days.
I did, however, finally send off my email to HRA about my three (3!) Single Shots that need to go back for their repair/upgrade. It seems like the experiences with this process among members here has been good, so I look forward to working through all the back and forth with Rice Lake on getting my hardware worked on.
The right hip is now 99.999% physically, with no residual pain or complications, so Dr. Sawbones is happy! But Dr. Disease still has me on oral antibiotics twice per day for now, as he watches my bloodwork over few months. Looking for settling of my Inflammation markers (CRP, mainly), which have settled down at the low end of "NORMAL" over the past two blood draws. The next draw isn't until early December, so it's Doxycycline in the meantime.
Even though there hasn't been any rifle shooting lately, I did get to the local indoor range recently with my Sig P229 and my Dan Wesson V-Bob (9mm) for some paper-punching. Great fun and good results!
Thanks for reaching out - I'M AROUND!

As often as the schedule and weather allow, Al, as in just two days ago (Thursday). Maybe again this afternoon and/or tomorrow!
Last few days of 70s and sunny in KC this weekend!
