Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Currently 8 degrees but it will drop a degree or two at sunrise. With yesterday’s snow on the ground and trees it’s a good day to start burning my piles of limbs. Gonna stay close to the fire tho!

Enjoying my Folgers and fire in the stove and the news on the box. (Well, not much to enjoy in the news these days but watching anyway)

57° and pcldy on the mountain with showers on the way. Breakfast and coffee is over, and it's time to get moving, but it's Sunday so I'll be moving slow. My back is recovering, but the slightest strain sends me a day back on recovery. Dang back anyway. We have a house and property to clean, and make shiny for a showing on Tuesday for some out of state folks to inspect. Hope they like it. Cheers

this morning most certainly did not dawn on a beautiful day anywhere near where we are camped in coastal VA .... 54 degrees no with it slated to only get up to 58 with a "Reel Feel" of 56 .. .. there wasn't any standing water last night when came inside .... the pictures below show the amount of overnight rain .... to put it mildly, things are soggy out there and more rain is forecasted to fall off and on all day .... a regular breakfast of eggs, home smoked sausage, sliced tomato and Folgers has come and gone .... looks like a good day to spend inside the camper

24 degrees this AM. Snow and Windy.
Coffee and stripes at six thirty AM.
Church and then brunch at a local bar and grill at 10:30.
The food is good and you need a reservation to get in. We called in yesterday. Place was at full capacity with the covid rules.
Country Fried Steak with Sausage Gravy, farm fresh eggs over easy, crispy hash browns, whole wheat toast with grape jelly, and a pot of decaf.
Couldn't eat it all, but loved it.

Youll only be running at half throttle now Coop. No Oreos and unleaded coffee. Snow on the ground here. 14 when I got up and its 16 right now as I eat oatmeal with Raspberries and walnuts in it. Had 2 cups of full leaded black coffee before the oatmeal.

Moe, I can sympathize with the back. Mine is doing the same thing. Just as it seems to get better, a little strain, back to square one. Tough getting old.

28 and clear this morning with frost. The coffee was fresh ground French toast beans.

Hi..... wet week ahead the weather man says...suppose I will check cows for calving and then stay inside drinking coffee and drawing ( when you add the drink coffee part you sound a tiny bit less like a first grader when you say the stay inside and draw part.....) life is still good for retired slackers I think. Hope its good for allbyou other folks as well......

Snow Sucks and we got about 6 inches of it. 7 deg out right now and supposed to hit 14. Im not to anxious about getting out there and clearing snow. Hey Coop can you bring me some Oreos so I have the energy to go outside.

Heading way up the scale today to 28F. Will feel like summer again.

After yesterday’s report of 8 degrees this morning is a balmy 18. Supposed to warm up by the weekend with highs around 50. That will melt the snow and allow me to complete my fall projects. I blew out my sprinkler system several days ago but I have a few neighbors who depend on others to do this and have not had their systems winterized yet. Good thing for them we got the snow, it’s offering a nice insulation blanket to the soil. Yesterday I stuck both a pitchfork and a shovel thru the snow and into the ground and found the ground to be unfrozen. Good for them!

Same old Folgers in the mug and it’s getting light outside. Today’s plan is to split a bunch of kindling and who knows what else.

55 degrees with 100% humidity where we are camped in coastal VA .... they are calling for it to get up to 70 later today, thankfully with a very small chance of rain .... it is still very wet with large puddles left from yesterday's deluge .... bacon, eggs, sliced tomato are gone, Folgers is still flowing

Seems that Orio's got into politics so I'll pass on them now. Stripes are pretty good.
24 and clear this AM with a little wind. Supposed to be in a worming trend for the next week.

It's a cloudy, cool 58 right now. Rain on the way Wed. & Thurs.
Gonna be a dreary week.
They say bad breath is better than no breath, so, I guess weather is the same way. LOL

Coffe made inside the house for the first time in months. The van had a flat tire and I need to pump it up and make a fast dash to the tire store.

50° and fog on the mountain, and getting up to 69° later. 1st cup of Coffee down, and breakfast is cooking. Sausage, egg, cheese, on toast sammich as usual. Cheers!
