26 out there with a slight chance of snow later. Better chance of measurable snow on Friday. I hear you Coop, it’s way too early to start plowing.

Morning plans are to get new tires on my wife’s car and then stop by my cousin’s place and help him winterize his travel trailer. Just in time with the forecasted temps in the low teens.

Might have to give that Black Rifle a try but I like more of a medium roast. I’ll take a look at their website and see if they have a med roast available.

28, cloudy and a high of 32. Right on the middle of a severe snow storm watch, says we could get really dumped on eith ice and snow. Everyone have a great day!

Was 36 this am and made it to 60 with more smoke

51° and Sunny. 1st cup of Italian dark roast coffee is down. Dogs in My lap, and breakfast is on the way. Woke up not bumping wood, so it's a good start to the day. We begin transporting our household goods to a storage unit that's about 34 miles from here. The deadline to be out is closing in on us. Going to hate leaving this place, but I can't continue doing the work required to maintain it right. Im not going to miss the work, but I will most definitely miss my gun range. New place is in the country on 1 acre, but there won't be any shootin off the porch anymore. I've been trying to shoot everyday until we move. That's one thing I need to do today is pick up a lot of spent 7.62x39 cases on my range. My back isn't any better, so I may have to go see a Doc soon. I already had disk problems, so I'm sure it's worse now. Anyway that's the SITREP here. Cheers.

26 leading to a high of 44 and sunny. Last nice day before winter sets in with a winter storm watch in effect for tomorrow. Expecting 3-7 inches of snow by the end of day Friday. Today I plan to finish skidding the remaining logs from my neighbors place and putting my classic Mustang to bed. Also sadly we will be burying our dogs ashes today before the ground freezes.

Nice hot cup of Folgers coffee and a fire in the stove. Waiting for daylight to get motivated.

9:15 AM and it's so dark that my yard lights are on. One hell of a storm overhead but nothing falling, yet.
There's no wind either. This is a little scary. Southwest of us they've had lightening and wind.
Oh well, coffee and stripes.
6 inches of snow yesterday and now this.

60 diggers and sunny here this morning. Going to change the oil in the Yamaha Rhino and then maybe go check out our woods to see if this guy made any rubs.

60 when we got up, its already up to 68 with 99% humidity on its way to 76 later today where we are camped near Gloucester, VA .... the chance of rain today bounces from 5 to15% .... regular breakfast of home smoked sausage, eggs, sliced tomato, and Folgers

Finally lightening up. Nothing but a few sprinkles. Strange weather.

Smoke and ash here this am. Front porch looks like I had a BBQ out there with charcoal. Grandby fire went from 19000 acres last night to 123000 acres this am. 36 here right now headed to 46 today. looks like Mars outside with all the smoke.

Almost froze last night. They say it will freeze by Saturday so it’s time to bring my coffee maker back inside the house. After redoing the roof I used the outdoor kitchen for only two months before being forced back inside. I love living outside.

Al, how far away are you from those fires? Those Co. fires been on the news here. BIG fires!

Fire is about 40 miles west of me as the crow flys. I have a friend in Loveland that sent me a picture from last night with a car that is just covered in ash.

The big scientist at CU Boulder say these fires are all due to climate change. But we have had record snowin the mounains the last few years. None of this could have anything to do with there is so much beetle kill pine in the high country that it was only a matter of time and this would happen.

Yikes! That ash might be ok for the lawn, but, can eat at paint if not washed off. We went thru the ash and smoke stuff about a month ago.
Didn't care for it a bit.

21 with a very sparkly lawn (frost for you guys in the south ) Our winter storm watch has been upgraded to a warning so here it comes, baby! Storm has been delayed with the arrival changed from 8:00 to 11:00 this morning so I will be able to get out and do a few chores before it hits.

Folgers in the cup and fire in the stove and I’m starting to get hungry for some breakfast.

58 on a foggy morning where we are camped near Gloucester, VA .... the good news is, the humidity is down from 100% to 97% .. .. they are forecasting it to get up to 74 later today (10 degrees less than yesterday) with at most a 10% chance of rain .... minor change to scrambled eggs with cheese along with standard home smoked sausage, sliced tomato and Folgers
