Glad to hear you got some rain. We have some family in Oregon and Idaho and things are burning up, out there. Not good.

It was good to get some but it was only a 36 hr stretch so it's bone dry here again. Better than nothing and yes the western US is terrifying to see. We have been very lucky the air is clear so far. Nights are down in the 30's now so mornings are wet and cool. But it was 90 here again today. Cools down to 60's next week here.

The BP rifle comes in November. Different dealer and should be no issues unless Italy goes on flu lock down again....anyhow, I tend not to worry about things I can't control. All goes well I am making smoke for Christmas. Got most of my supplies already, lead, caps, patches, cleaning stuff, Pyro and Triple 7, powder horn, bag, brass powder measure and my homemade antler ones. Ordered a separate Pedersoli ramrod that is sturdier and fits the rifle too. Also included the tube and nipple valve for cleaning with the bucket of water.

just curious, how long should it take a "normal" package to get from there to you .. .. now that it is in your country, would your rifle be considered a normal package ..

The guy has to go and get his shipment from Calgary. About a 2 hr drive for him. Then I go get my rifle from him in Lethbridge, about a 90 min drive for me. Rifle will have so many miles on it will need an oil change before I can shoot it. Depends on weather when he goes to Calgary, lots of snow in the forecast this week. Oh well, at least it sounds like the end is in sight some day soon. Will post pics maybe before end of month....
