Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
we awoke this morning to a cool (51 degrees) but beautiful morning near Gloucester, VA .... the forecasted high of 73 under a sunny sky sounds really good to us .... Folgers is still flowing freely while the eggs and sausage have come and gone

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning, been up a while and drank near a pot already.
Was 43° when I got up, and they say it'll be near 80 later.
Today's the oldest daughter's BD, she's 44.
Dang I'm getting old.

34 with a very starry sky, probably will drop a few degrees before beginning the upward trend to a high of 50. Going to the neighbors today who also had a bunch of trees taken down. Another neighbor is bringing his pto chipper over and we are going to chip up the branches and I plan to drag the logs to my place for future firewood. He had a tamarack taken down so I’m itching to get my hands on it as it’s much better burning wood than pine.
Breakfast will be happening pretty soon as I need to be next door in 1.5 hours.

40s and windy this morning with scattered rain.
Got up early and went to breakfast with the neighbor this morning.
Our favorite little greasy spoon cafe that gives you more than you can eat and all good.
The next week doesn't sound too good. Mostly colder.

Tomorrow will be my best day to go to the range.
I need to clean up the debris first from yesterday’s wind storm. My entire lawn looks like this.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
]Enjoying some beautiful sunny fall weather here on the mountain finally.
Enjoyed meeting up with my old bear hunting club on Monday. Might go out with them on Friday. Not to hunt, just to tag along.
We always let them park their equipment here on the property during bear season if they choose to. Some travel a fair distance and that makes it a lot easier. The cabin is on our 1000 acres of hunting land.

My Welsh GMa made the real toad in the hole (quite complicated) but the American short version is to take a slice of bread and use a biscuit cutter and cut out a circle in the middle of the bread. Melt butter in fry pan, add bread and crack an egg in the hole, let toast flip until done. My grand kids just love’em.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
a crisp 56 degrees under a clear, Carolina Blue Sky this morning on its way to 76 later today .... not a cloud showing on the radar but the forecast is calling for an 80% chance of rain moving in tonight and a 90% chance that it will hang around all day tomorrow .... with a high tomorrow to only reach 62, it appears to be a stay inside day .... Folgers flowing, breakfast on the way
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
25 crisp degrees and frost on the pumpkin! Heading to a sunny 55. Playing golf today but not teeing off until noon so we will be out there in the nicest part of the day. Might be warm enough for a cold one or two.
Prior I need to do some prep for tomorrows grouse hunt with Mrs. hatchdog. Jumped two here at home the other day and she is bugging me to take her hunting.
Enjoying both my Folgers and the first fire of the season in the wood stove.
