As a guitar player myself for the last 50 or so years, I have spent countless hours listening to and studying guitar players and styles. Mr. VH was uniquely gifted. There are thousands of copycat rock guitar players out there now, but he took it to the next level and then some, changed the game and was an original. Sad to see truly gifted artists pass, as we will not see their like again. Just my opinion. Some station had a tribute going this afternoon and lots of his guitar work still makes me smile & raised goosebumps.

I loved how he was always smiling. He truly loved playing the guitar.

Some people are gifted with it, the rest of us have to work for it. That's in everything about life. He was one of the greats for sure.
