Missouri Bullets have limited bullet selection now!

Post by fortyshooter » Fri Sep 18, 2020 11:48 am

Hope y'all have what you need because MB told me they have had to temporarily cutback their bullet types and weight selections due to being way behind in completing orders. Just take a look on their site. No 180 gr. .357 Pugnose and only thing in .45 Colt is 200 gr. They only have one bullet choice for .357 Mag !
Things getting tough out there! Glad I was able to get my order in last month!

Roger that FS, I was on their website last night and was shocked at the lack of variety. I was looking for the 180 grain striker for the .357, like you said, nada, only one choice.

I did jump on the 45 colt 200 grain thought while it was there.

Yikes! Plenty of Stikers, but, Missouri .45/250gr rnfp, I have one full box on the shelf. Question: I have two boxes of 230gr LRN for my 1911. Seems I could load those in Colt cases and run 'em in my Pietta. What do you folks think? Hmm.

Yes you can load them in 45 Colt. Just seat them to same Bullet Depth as you would 45 ACP and slight taper crimp just like 45 ACP.
I load Speer swaged lead 230 gr. bullets like that for my Remington 1858 Revolver.

Bullet diameter is good for the wheel gun, should not be a problem.

I shoot MB 250 grain Cowboy #1 and #4 as well as 230 grain.

I got my order in on 9/3 before they limited their selection. I'm figuring I won't see those bullets until late October of early November.

Well, it looks like the USPS has lost my shipment.
I received an e-mail from MB on 9/11 saying my order had shipped.
Well Mon was like 14 days and no bullets, so I call MB, very nice people.
She sends me a tracking #, when I check.
Last time scanned was on the 16th. :o
Took a hour to finally talk to a PERSON, at USPS.
So now they are looking in to it.

Hey, finally got 'em. :D
Check the tracking and saw they arrived at the PO this morning.
Called and checked, yep.
Told 'em I'd be right there, didn't want them sitting on the porch all afternoon.

Anyone running short on bullets might check Xtreme. They have some and they are good bullets. They are copper plated

Jim it was scanned in Oxford MS on the 16th. Then nothing till I contacted them about it.
Then it shows up in Memphis on the first.
