Love fall nights, open windows and shut off AC, just right for great sleeping. 54 and mostly sunny with a high of 70. To quote dasmoeturhead “nice to be retired”, everyone have a great day!

40 this morning with nice fall days for the rest of the week. 70 - 80 and sunny.

Chimney sweep comes next week to clean my wood stove pipe and I’m looking forward to a nice fire in the mornings as the temps drop. Not yet, but it’s coming.......

Doing lots of trimming and cutting around the place and piling limbs to burn once we get either serious rain or some snow.

Finally some fall weather here in coastal Texas. Woke up to 68° and a high predicted about 80°. Had steel cut oats and coffee for breakfast. No clients again today. This Covid thing has really hurt the business. Gives me more time to do other things though. I may get out on the Harley again this afternoon for a short ride.

44° and windy outside. 1st cup of coffee is down, and I'm trying to wake up enough to cook up some breakfast. Cheers.

Piece of cake, Just be sure the power is off.

50 this morning with lots of wind. Maybe some afternoon showers.
Coffee in VFW mug with cookies.

Drove 45 minutes to a Tap Room last night to have dinner with a cousin who is twenty years younger and just retired.
Food wasn't too good but he and his wife were a lot of fun. Will do it again, but maybe at a different place.

44 with clear skies. We are supposed to get a little bit Smokey later today from the California fires.

Continuing to limb up around the place and later heading into Spokane to help my son with the same.

Awoke to about the same temp as yesterday. I believe it was 54° this morning. Temps have moderated quite quickly. Bacon, eggs, coffee and an apple cider donut for breakfast. Going to practice some this morning and then work on a clarinet overhaul this afternoon. Frankly, I've been avoiding the range until this Covid thing settles a bit.

49° should be in 60's today. Nice fall day.
Check ciws for calving. Then go to town and get a frame for a picture im working on. Going to enter three drawings in a local art show. Will enter um tomorrow and then go watch one of my sons boy play in an eight grade basketball game. The quiet stuff of semi-retirement ... of course starting out the day with that nice hot cup of coffee.....

40s this morning and rain off and on with wind. Maybe upper 50s by this afternoon with a frost advisory tonight.
Coffee and oh you know, cookies.
Woke up early this AM with leg pain. Old age I guess.
Legion meeting last night twenty miles into the city. Our post is bankrupt, but we own some really prime real estate so we're trying to decide what to do with it.
Problem is the post also owns our local gun range where I shoot weekly. We couldn't meet in our building as it's been condemned as unsafe, so a VFW let us meet
in their facility. I was on the nominating committee to find candidates for a board to oversee the sale of our property and what to do with the proceeds. I'm also
on a board that owns the property in name only. Fun times. NOT!
Goal, save the gun range and have a permanent home for the Post.
I'm too old for this stuff. Where are the younger guys who should be looking out for us old guys?

A brisk 30 and a mostly sunny morning, a high of 54 is expected. Almost done with PT, with these cool temps I hope it kills this swarm of go annoying flies hanging around. Everyone have a great day!

The Wife asked, "What are you doing today?" I answered, "Nothing". She said, "That's what you did yesterday." I replied, "I wasn't done."

Seriously, I did say that once, just once.
