38° on the mountain. Breakfast is long gone, and ready to start the day. It's sunny out. Cheers

Fall weather is here now with 46 degrees this morning! Supposed to be great dry weather all week. Get some work done down at the range this week on my lean to shed project.

Went to something like that yesterday. A big bike and car cruise-in at the local Harley Davidson dealer in town. I took my Mustang down there and enjoyed a few afternoon hours. First time I have been to an event this year. Hope I didn't catch anything!

A cool 68° this morning. "Beta" is supposed to start affecting our weather this afternoon. Right now it's really nice and sunny. Cooked eggs, bacon, biscuits (from scratch) and gravy for breakfast this morning. Not exactly heart healthy but sure hit the spot.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
So the Wife always wants to get to the church half an hour early, (don't know why), so usually we arrive at eight O'clock for eight thirty service. So we arrive at eight this morning and as we drive up she remembers that service doesn't start till ten because of a lawn fair today. Could have slept in for gosh sakes.
So we went to this little restaurant we like but can't usually get in because it's swamped with after church goers. Got right in this morning.
This place has really good locally purchased food. Farm fresh eggs and local sausage.
I had biscuits with sausage gravy, two eggs over easy and hash browns.
Most excellent.
Now in the sixties heading for seventies with hazy skies. Supposed to be nice for a few more days.

I had 29 guests for breakfast pancakes and port chops. This was for a friends birthday.

Decorations are down except for a few balloons that will be introduced to my Red Ryder tomorrow.CT_Shooter wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 4:50 pmIt looks like they're all enjoying themselves and staying safe, too. Very cool.
Some wore masks but most didn’t and no one followed my six feet signs. Getting this many friends together did produce a lot of hugs.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We sold our house a month ago. We have to be out by Nov 13th. We've been looking hard for another place in this area. This is a crazy time in the market. Houses are selling fast. Our offer was accepted yesterday on a nice place in Chuckey, TN. It's close to Greenville, TN. The misses gets all the boxes checked on what she wanted. Me? Well there's no gun range. I knew I was very lucky to have a range. Going to have to find a place to shoot over that way. I also will need a compact tractor for the yard and drive. I've been looking at a new John Deere series one with a mower and bucket. Any suggestions? JD's are made right there in Greenville.
Didn't sleep much last night due to the activity yesterday due to the house buying action. 1st cup of coffee down, and going in for another. Oh, it's 36° and dark out. Cheers.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
After nearly two weeks on the road I am back home in good ole” Deer Park WA.......44 and probably cloudy (still dark) but the smoke is gone. While we were away it was the worst ever I understand, pegging the smoke-o-meter in the hazardous category. Today is unpacking, mowing the lawn and just general upkeep. Supposed to get rain later in the week, that’s great!
Folgers for now and some simple breakfast soon.
Great to be on the road but equally great to be home.
