September 4th, 1860 Henry
86F and sunshine, way too dry. Have not been to the range since early July. Busy with cows and horses. Today I took my Henry 1860 45 Colt for some shooting fun. Open sights, although I raise the ladder sight for the 100 yd shots.
25 yds = 3" target and 14 rounds
50 yds = 6" target and 12 rounds
100 yds = 12" target and 24 rounds
No wind, and rifle was cleaned in late July. Shooting 250 gr LRNFP with 7.0 gn Universal.
Hope you like 'em, RR

remarkable offhand shooting .... with the looks of the 25 and 50 yard targets, your rifle's sights must be set on about 50

Re: September 4th, 1860 Henry
That is a very good load! Not to mention excellent shooting RR.
Re: September 4th, 1860 Henry
Mighty fine shooting. By the looks of those groups, with open sights, I'd say that 1860 likes the loads you're feeding it.
Re: September 4th, 1860 Henry
Youre a little rusty you better shoot more often to sharpen back up again
