Almost midday and just hit 44, bit warmer than predicted, farm wont get past high 30's today and to wet to get much done so building a few more panels for the sheep yards at home.
Showers on and off makes it 10 days of rain in a row and 19 so far for this month.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Very nice calm Sunday morning in the 70's with nice breeze. Took the Lil'Beast Mustang out for a drive. Now sitting outside under shady magnolia tracking planes with the Tracker24 app. Cool to see a plane on the radar map coming my way and then a few minutes later hear it and see it overhead and know where it's heading. Speed and altitude shown as well.

Hey Forty, I spent fifteen years as a Air Traffic Controller, then as a ATC Supervisor in Washington Center which is located in Leesburg, Va.
We remotely controlled all of Virginia, Maryland, a lot of West Virginia, Georgia and North Carolina. Loved that job and the area. Left because of family
needs and still miss the place. Wherever you are in Virginia I could still tell you what you're seeing and where they're going.
I miss the mountain deer and turkey hunting, varmint and dove hunting in the Shenandoah Valley, Fishing the Potomac, the bay, the outer banks, and I could go on.
Oh yeah, goose hunting on the bay.
I miss it.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Going for 89º today. Canned 6 quarts of tomatoes this morning. A first for me but have plenty more to do. Feels like a slow day. Ordered a dual voltage Hobart mig wire welder with a spool gun, going to get rid on the stick guns and this cheap wire welder my father gave me. Have a cart coming and my buddy the welder is going to help me set it up. Maybe I can do some of these repairs that I have been putting off.
Enjoy your Sunday.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
its a gray, 68 degree, morning in Clarksville, TN .... they are calling it to reach 79 this afternoon at our destination of Swannanoa, NC (just east of Asheville) with a 50% chance of thunderstorms .... after getting setup we are scheduled to drive to the Asheville Farmer's Market where we have reserved 2 bushels of white half-runner green beans ===> https://www.ufseeds.com/product/mountai ... ean-seeds/ .... half-runners are the beans I was raised eating and for me, they taste the way a green bean should taste .... consequently, our first project when we get home will be to can them .... eggs, bacon, and a single cup of Folgers

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
63° on the mountain, and it hasn't rained in 1 1/2 hours. Must be some kind of record. Still waiting for summer.
I'm on my 2nd cup of go juice, and breakfast was delicious. I have to go in to town to get more coffee. We might even get new cell phones while we're there. I hate the thought of that. Anyway Cheers

Coffee and Orio's with thunderstorms looming. Supposed to get really hot today. High 90s.
I have an appointment with the oral surgeon after lunch. It's been two months and today he will
expose the implants and attach the little studs that anchor the plates.
Sounds like fun. NOT!
