Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Mid 80's today and it was cool this morning so I gave all the shrubs a nice trim....cut them down! Going to go with a low maintenance look around the house instead of tall shrubs that need trimming.

Got out early and painted the deck prior to the direct sunshine beating down.
It's done and looks great.

59° and light rain on the mountain. 1st cup of Joe down and breakfast is cooking. Day of rest today after to much work yesterday. Maybe I'll get on the radio awhile. Cheers

after a low of 53 the temp in Grain Valley, MO has risen to 63 .... it is scheduled to reach 86 in Eureka, MO which is our destination for today .... very low chance of rain over our drive route which will take us from just east of KC to just west of St Louis .... eggs, bacon and Folgers were good the sliced local tomato was way to sharp for my taste

68 now with a high of 91 expected. Grand daughter’s tonsils come out today, I have more therapy and that’s about all going on today. Every one have a great day.

85° this morning at 9 a.m. I didn't check the temps when I got up. Had a light breakfast of cereal, English muffin, and coffee. Already started work. Ordered me a new workbench yesterday. Spent too much money on it but I've always wanted a "fancy" one. Hope to get out and shoot Sunday. I was going to try to get out today, and may still, depending if I get the work out. I haven't been to the range since I got back from Oklahoma. It's been a long time.

Woke up early this morning, turned on the PC and was told Windows was upgrading, stand by. Three hours later I was back on line.
Coffee and a peach.
Did a little touch up on the deck and rehung the plant hangers. Looks good.
I have a wasp's nest that is wrapped around my Dish dish. It encompasses the feed arm as well as half the dish.
OK, that's not good. I got the bug spray that is supposed to spray almost thirty feet, but it didn't reach them.
This morning I just took the garden hose with a pressure nozzle on it and by golly I soaked it enough that it
started to fall apart. Of course they were unhappy with me so I had to retire inside for a while.
Tonight! I'll get them tonight.
Carol is allergic so they have to go.

It's a jewelers workbench. Solid hardwood. It's got the built in pan tray that you really can't see in the picture. I really could use that to prevent me getting on my hands and knees looking for a small screw that accidentally rolled off!

61° on the mountain. It's dark and I just finished my 1st cup of mud, and not is it working. Drinking some Black rifle coffee company CAF. My turn to cook. Waiting for the Boss to wake up. Again no plans for the day yet. I'm not caught up, but there's nothing on my list for the day.
Yesterday on the radio I talked to Slovenia, Slavco Republic, and a guy from Cuba. Hope the conditions hold up. Cheers

Darn cat got me up this morning with his loud growl meows because he's hungry. Had plans to get some rest because yesterday was very busy. Right off had to call the vet out for an emergency because my horse went down in the barn do to a bad hip problem, hell to get old. After I pulled her up with the tractor and she was given three pain shots, she trotted off into the pasture. Then the work begun and I worked and planted my three food plots for deer and turkey, now praying for rain but it sounds spotty here in Ohio. Think today I'll try out a couple 2400 loads in my 44 mag. Henry. I don't even like 2400 but I can use standard primers with that and I am conserving my mag primers for my cold weather hunters.

80's here and way too dry. Fires in BC. The 95 degree stuff we had last couple of weeks made a tinderbox. Off to Lethbridge with the wife today for some groceries.

Soggy morning after early morning rain. Supposed to dry out for next 4 days...so they say. Waiting for landscaper to show up and give me a price on a yard project. Have 9 big shrubs about 5 of them Jap. Holly bushes 40+ yrs. old that are all going to go. Tired of trimming them several times a year with long sleeve welders gloves on!
Going new direction with a few smaller spaced out plants with a gravel bed....lower maintaining I hope!

Coffee, Orio's, and a peach this morning. Trying to eat healthy.
Went to my cousins visitation yesterday afternoon. Strange. The family sat under a portico at the funeral home and we drove through
and said our regrets at his passing out the window of the car. 90 degrees and they were dressed in suits and ties. Sad. Damned Covid.
Stopped at our favorite steak house on the way home and ate really well. See Bill liked to eat well, so we did it for him.

66 now with a high of 91 expected, no therapy today but will have to do home exercises. Grand daughter had tonsils out yesterday I think I’ll go visit her today. Miss going to the range, it will another month before I am able to shoot again.
