Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Had my old favorite this morning. A cake doughnut with chocolate frosting and coffee.
When I was a working man and an employee over slept, I had the great joy of calling them in the wee
hours of the morning and telling them that if they brought doughnuts for everyone all would be
forgiven. Otherwise I would charge them leave for the time they were late. Always told them
my preference. Good times.
Another bright day in the 70s. Got painting to do.

57° on the mountain with thunderstorms. Normal weather here. Just finished my 1st cup of dark roast coffee, in the Gadsen mug.

Coffee and a doughnut. I'm going to make up for it in a bit, Wife got some ripe peaches. I love them sliced with cream and a little sugar.
Beautiful day yesterday and today will be just a little warmer with humidity moving in later.
Got some more painting to do.

Uhhh. Just finished washing 35' travel trailer from top to bottom. Started yesterday around 10am. Quit after I got the top done. I hate doing it, but it's a must. Next is inside. I'll be sore for a few days after I pick up all the hoses (300 ft of them) and stow them properly. Cheers

Tell me about it. I put our Motorhome in the shed in March when the pandemic drove us home and it hasn't been on the road since.
I still need to get it out and wash the road salt from it. I've been putting it off.
35 foot is a long trailer. What kind is it?

68 here to start the day headed to the 90's again. Lots of smoke from all the fires. The State of Colorado is a blaze

Anything up to 2" rain predicted again for today, top of 50. Makes over a week with some rain each day, low 40's for the farm 20 miles away and chance of snow over the next 4 days. Getting close to 36" rain at the farm since the fires in January.

Had enough smoke for my lifetime late last year, we had almost 2 months with visibility down to a few hundred yards. Hopefully you get a weather change in Colorado and not like the one we got that saw 110 temps 70 mph winds humidity under 10% and almost a million acres burn in less than a day. Stay safe.

Its a 35' Salem travel trailer. Its has 2 slides, 2 bedrooms, and outdoor cooking area. It's pretty comfy, but not as nice as our 43' Landmark 365 5th wheel was, but it works.

Sounds nice. When I was younger I didn't mind a little discomfort, but now in my elder years I enjoy a soft bed and good heat and AC.
Ours is a 36 ft Winnebago Journey with two slides. Travels 6, visits 4, sleeps 2 and tows a car.

I hear you Al. Our state is burning up also. And HOT!!! Geez, I'm not even fooling around in the shop. 103 today, 105 tomorrow.

2019 Cedar Creek Hathaway Edition. 34IK. We love it but I get the washing thing for sure. Coming soon for me. Will be Friday or Saturday for me 38 feet of it. Cant wait to get to it. We have been out 3 weeks and its time to take the long way home. I-70 closed and wont be open Im sure. I have other thoughts about that but cant say as it goes against forum rules.

63 this morning under a hazy sky in Grain Valley, MO .... its supposed to get up to 84 later today with a very low chance of rain .... when we were here a year ago it was beastly hot, its sure much better this year .... in looking at the long range forecast, the heat will start rolling back over the coming weekend .... basic breakfast of bacon, eggs and Folgers to start the day

Woke up this morning not bumping wood, so I reckon I'm doing alright. 65° on the mountain. Coffee and breakfast is a couple hours behind me. Normal work routine around the property today. Cheers

Good thing is, high school football starts tomorrow nite. Got season tickets yesterday.

Started off today at 75° about 6:30. Had eggs, ham, and English muffin for breakfast and just finishing my second cup of joe now. Went to the garage to buff some saxophone keys. It get's annoyingly hot out there after a bit. Right now it's 85° with a high predicted of 95°. Now to get back to work.
