I keep the hot .45 Colt loads in a separate container in back of my ammo storage. Was going thru things to see what I had in .45 and other calibers.
The 250 gr. XTP's with 20 gr. of 2400 would work very well in the .45 Carbine. Had loaded those for my Alaskan and Ruger BH.
They run about 1100 FPS out of the 2.5 inch Alaskan.
Site seems to be working OK.

For sure, those Ruger's can handle those hot loads. I have a couple of boxes of the Buffalo Bore 45 Colt +P I haven't had a chance to shoot.
