64° and Sunny on the mountain. Coffee is flowing, breakfast is done. Got some hand loading to finish today, and that's about it. Cheers

Sixties and thunderstorms this morning. Supposed to be stormy all day in fact.
Coffee and a bagel consumed and now ready for church.
After church we usually stop for brunch somewhere.
Bacon and eggs here I come.

69º and sunny, heading towards 90º again. Little work on the garden and the lawn. Picking tomatoes and red bell peppers. Had 5 cantaloupe ripen and are sweet as all get out. Dehydrating some of the jalapeños and getting ready to can some tomatoes. Had some dusty grey fungus on the squash and zucchini last week but seem to have that solved. If I do this next year I have leaned enough to make some changes.

thanks for the news about an earthquake near Sparta, NC ===> https://www.newsobserver.com/news/local ... 34477.html .... we have friends from home who are camping near there and felt it .... where we are camped in east central South Dakota a strong thunderstorm rumbled from 2 to 5AM .... it put on one heck of a light show .... sausage, eggs and Folgers

just learned our daughter felt it at our home in central NC .... the friend I mentioned about was on a lake fishing in his Kayak .... he said the vibration was "interesting" .... his wife told him that their motorhome was shaking

61° on the mountain. Dark roast coffee is flowing through my veins doing its job. Breakfast sammich's are cooking. Looks like a nice day to be outside. Yesterday was outstanding. Could be a nice range day. Cheers.

Morning 75° here, and headed to the mid 90's, with a Heat Advisory, heat indexes between 105 & 110.

once again thunder rumbled at daylight but no visible lightening and very little rain came with it .... 61 this morning on its way to 78 later today with a very low chance of rain .... based on recent history one can't have much confidence in that .... sausage, eggs and Folgers have kicked off the first day of this last week we are scheduled to be in South Dakota

Storm hit about 4 AM. Got an inch of needed rain and slept like a baby.
Sixties this morning and overcast. Looks like more rain today.
Coffee, Bagel, and a Banana for breakfast. Need to eat a banana every once in a while to
avoid Charley Horses in my legs at night.

A balmy 82° at 8 this a.m. I haven't checked since. Got two cars inspected and registered for another year this morning. May get some work done today, maybe not.
