Well, I missed y'all yesterday, went to my daughter's and worked for a while.
Then I had a couple cold ones.
Just finished a Big ole filet mignon, and now enjoying a cold one.
Thinking about a double Trace.
Nice spot Al.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
If some of you may recall, I'm breaking in a new set of implants and plates. So far so good.
Last evening Carol made one of my favorite meals. Now don't go the wrong way on this till you hear it all.
She takes Sour Kraut, yes sour kraut, and washes it in a sieve to get the juice out.
Then layers it into a baking dish adding a little brown sugar on top. Not much, just a little.
Then she lays pork ribs on top of that and bakes it in the oven for four hours.
Twenty minutes prior to eating she applies BBQ Sauce to the ribs and back in the oven.
Now I get a frosty mug of Grain Belt Premium and a plate of Sour Kraut and ribs along with a baked potato
with sour cream and chives. The pork is very tender and the meat juice has flavored the kraut. I love it.
After that I settle into my recliner with a Martini. Life is good.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
I was at camp when Al retired and I missed raising a glass in his direction to commemorate the occasion. I will rectify that with a shot from one of these two large fellows I picked up on my journey north. Boy, I thought N frames were big. I had never seen such a big bottle of the trace, but it was the only one they had, soooooo I had to take it. I did so gladly.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Was watching NASCAR yesterday afternoon and the Wife asks if I would like a little glass of Maker's Mark as she was having one.
Well heck yes, why not, Harvicks winning anyway.
Then we fired up our new Blackstone Griddle and did burgers, fried onions, sliced potatoes and added sweet corn on the cob.
It was a feast accompanied by a Grain Belt Premium and later a martini.
It was a good evening and ended by sitting on the deck until almost mid night watching lightening flash.
