Been in the 90's all week. Rained last night for a couple hours finally. Crispy dry out there. Fires in Montana south of us.

Spokane missed tying the record high temp yesterday by one degree. Unfortunately it got just as hot here at my place as it did in town. Ugh

Note the 19% humidity, I feel for you folks in higher humidity areas.

Today’s high is only supposed to be around 90, normally something I would complain about but put in perspective with yesterday, 90 is not so bad.

Enjoying my usual many, many cups of Folgers to get my motor running. Heading across the stateline to Coeur d’alene Idaho shortly as an LGS there has CCI small rifle primers in stock and I need some. Stopping along the way to drop off a bottle of Trail Boss to a guy in need. Gotta do what we can in these times.

BTW, I checked and the sending unit for this weather display was in the shade when this pic was taken.

thunder rumbled around 1AM but no rain .... currently 68 with 90%humidity under gray sky with 12+ mph winds .... they are calling for it to reach 76 later today with 10% or less chance of rain .... regular breakfast of sausage, eggs, sliced tomato and Folgers has come and gone

65° and partly cloudy on the mountain, and going to 79° with thunderstorms as usual. Done with breakfast, and planning my work day around the property. Fun times. Sorry to report no gun related fun for a few days, due to the work load. I did get some radio time in the evening hours though. Cheers

63 under a beautiful, cloudless Carolina Blue sky this morning where we are camped in east central South Dakota .... at most a 5% chance of rain on its way to 72 with 9 mph wind later today .... Sunday morning breakfast of a cheese omelet, thick sliced bacon, and Folgers to kickoff the day .... looking forward to shooting trap this afternoon

Green Tea and coffee starting this day at about 55 degrees here. Oatmeal will be consumed shortly in prep for a bike ride. I will take more pictures of the area to post later on.

80° with 83% humidity this morning. I've decided I'm not going to do anything work related today. Just going to take the day off.

The heat and humidity have been terrible here for the last month so we are planning to FINALLY head up to the cabin some time this week. The weather up there is a lot more tolerable up at that elevation.
We also have some maintenance that needs to get done this season before the heavy snows. We get tons up there near Mt. Mitchel.
Hope to finally do some shooting and ride that new 4-wheeler. We will hire a couple folks we know to take care of the work to be done.

Big storm last night, thunder, lightning and heavy rain. 80's today.

Getting ready for the tropical storm to hit Monday/Tuesday ! Gutters cleaned out which only takes me 10 minutes...thank goodness for those Flip Clean gutters on a hot humid day! Generator test run and filled with gas. Hopefully it will move on quick and winds stay under 40 MPH as predicted.
2-4 inches of rain in a 24 hour period so they say.
Neighbor down at my range property called me Saturday night to let me know a tree had fallen across my driveway into the place from a storm night before.

Moved horses to new pasture yesterday, looks like they are happy about it. Everybody ran around for about 10 minutes.

Weather here has finally cooled & calmed down a bit. Got the yard mowed today & some chainsaw work in. Lots more to go,
( weeks ), if weather cooperates.

65° for and going to 75°. 2 cups of coffee down, and headache is gone. My turn to cook breakfast.
Sore from working in the woods yesterday, and then turning around and mowing 1.5 acres of wet grass. My D140 JD didn't like it even on the highest setting. Got clogged up bad once. Once cleared it did alright. Anyway at least it's over with. Today I'm going to rest, and punish the gong with my AK47. That'll make my day. Cheers

Punish that gong a time or two for me Moetur. 56 here at the base of the mountain headed to 90. Im not going to work today Im going for a walk with Dolly here in just a bit. Green Tea and a cup of Joe to get going. Anyone tried some Black Rifle Coffee. They even have one for Moetur. Called AK-47
