Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
You better go shoot Monday Gene its your Birthday and there isnt a better way to celebrate it in my opinion. 84 right now with some of that Forty Shooter humidity here. Its like 40% which is high for us.

59° and wet on the mountain. 1st cup of coffee is down.
My little dog Indie is in the hospital inside an oxygen chamber fighting off congestive heart failure. He's having a rough time. Had to take him to the Boone NC emergency vet hospital. Got home at midnight. He's still there. I'm sitting by the phone waiting for the Doctor to call and tell me how he's doing. 3 years ago the University of Tennessee animal hospital gave him 6 months to live. He beat that by a bunch, but now I'm worried, and not prepared for what this latest event will bring, us he just had surgery on his foot. I'm rambling, so I better get some breakfast. Cheers.

I sure can feel for you and your pup. Hate when they get sick.
69 this morning with heavy rain. Looks like it's set to rain all day. Well, we do need the rain.
Coffee and Oreos this morning. Getting ready for church and then Brunch after.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
we awoke to a much cooler 64 degree morning .... a cool front must have pushed through around 4AM, the flashes of lightening in the distance really put on a show .... this time we did get some rain .... projected high today 80 with a low chance of more rain .... sausage gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs with cheese and Folgers ... that's a nice start for today
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Sorry to hear that. We had a beagle several years ago and had to do the same thing. It wasn't cheap but we got about two or three more years with medication....vetmedin I think it was.... along with another pill that I can't remember the name of.dasmoeturhead wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 7:19 am59° and wet on the mountain. 1st cup of coffee is down.

Getting a late start to posting. It's 85° and I can hear thunder outside although the sun is shining. Finished one cup of joe and getting ready to get another.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Back from Church. Don't get me wrong, Carol is the devout one. I go with her because of who she is. A great wife.
Only about one fifth of the number of folks attending now. Sad.
Our first choice for brunch was full with folks waiting outside in the rain.
Drove ten miles out of the way for our second choice and it was good. The place is called "The Long Branch", and
there was a wanted poster by our table for disrupting the peace and quiet, with the proprietors picture on it.
We both had Pancakes and Eggs with link sausage and coffee.
It was worth the drive.
JE, the sausage was great. Don't know what kind though.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
another really good morning in our neighborhood in eastern South Dakota .... if Estelline had a Chamber of Commerce, they would love it ..
.. 67 under a beautifully sunny sky .... projected high of 82 with a new 0% chance of rain throughout the rest of today .... eggs, bacon and Folgers should provide sufficient energy to take care of my only item on my agenda for today, that being to clean a shotgun ...

63° on the mountain going to 79°. Just started working on my 1st cup of Joe. Dump run, and pharmacy run today. That's about it. Got a new tube for my radio amp, and now I'm putting out full power again. Yesterday I talked to Cuba, N.Canada , and NW Montana. So it's working good. Cheers
