I agree the carbine length really felt much more balanced. I elected to go with the big boy steel 20" for my first Henry. The rifle length octagonal felt a little unbalanced and I wasn't sure if a full tube of ammo would help or not.

If all goes well with this one I'm going back for the brass carbine model!

I would also like to know which sling that is?

Sweet looking Carbine

I have the Steel Carbine in 357 ,but my magazine lock -up is very tough to lock or unlock
