Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
another cool (56 degree) calm morning on its way to 85 later today .... a 60% chance of rain a couple of hours ago fizzled, low chance between now and tonight ... happy to say the sliced tomatoes for breakfast were the best we've had since leaving home .... it appears that vine ripened ones are now on the market ....
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Not as hot today, 90, humidity is up, heat index 103. Not comfortable.

Cooler this evening and the rain has returned. Glad I moved the trailer today instead of waiting till tomorrow. I need a day off.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
70 and bright sun this AM. It's supposed to get humid and then really hot this weekend.
Could be some severe T Storms this evening.
Coffee and Tapioca for breakfast.
Went to the Dentist yesterday and this morning the new teeth are temporarily in place
while the healing continues. Trouble is it's a entirely new way to chew. Got teeth in
places I didn't before. Got to learn over.
Oh well, on the right track not. Bacon and eggs is on the horizon.

One of the biggest rewards after having my dental work done, was no more terrible pain from hot and cold contact.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 9:41 am70 and bright sun this AM. It's supposed to get humid and then really hot this weekend.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Hey JE, had a late breakfast and hooray, Eggs over easy, fried potatoes, toast, and
wait for it........fried Spam. I know, I know, anything but Spam, well I happen to
like Spam fried crispy. Just pork shoulder and salt is all it is.
Have to learn to chew all over again as well as talk, but hey, on the right road at last.
At least I'm still potty trained.

95 here as of 3:30 PM under the magnolia tree where my temp sensor is. Add the humidity and it feels like 100!
Perfect shooting weather
I'm doing what Buster does....taking a nap under the ceiling fan!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Still hot here, temp. around 100 or so. Got my new hearing aids today from the VA. Working fine, had to turn my TV down about 4 notches, LOL

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Hot and humid like about everywhere else. Not sure what my day will be but have a bunch that needs doing. The brakes in my Jeep went out and the neighbor is supposed to fix if I can get him to commit.
Hope you all enjoy the weekend.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
65° going to 85 with thunderstorms on the mountain today. Just finished the 1st cup of dark roast coffee, and I need another one. My turn to cook. Instead of working around the homestead I'll think it's time to do some shooting, but with the scarcity of reloading components and the way things are going around the country I tend to just prepare and keep my ammo at the ready.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
70s this morning and humid with a clear sky. They say mid 90s today with high humidity.
Good day to work indoors I guess. Got some honey does that are pending.
Storms rolled through this morning about 3:30 or so. No apparent damage though.
Our gun club is owned by a veterans organization that is bankrupt. If the parent
organization goes, what happens to the range? I was asked to run for a place on the
Board, and I was elected. I do have some experience with problems like this, but
the new Commander seems very competent and has a good recovery plan.
What he needs most is support, and I do support him. Several folks have expressed
their thanks to me, but I haven't done anything yet, and maybe won't have to if
all goes well.
Thinking about purchasing a Blackstone Grill. Any thoughts?
