Newbe To The Forum
Hey Guys,
Nice to be on board. I am waiting for my HENRY Big Boy X Model .357/.38 Special to be available. I have searched the web and gun stores but no luck. They simply are not available. I am working with the Wisconsin Plant customer service person who is coordinating with my local Firearms dealer. I think I have a 30 to 60 day waiting period before HENRY will have stock again due to Mfg supply and the Covid 19 Thang.
Any way, everything I have seen about this Rifle makes me smile as well as all the YouTube Shooters. They all Love this Rifle. I fell in love with this great design also.
I'm from the Northeast part of the country...South "Joisey" as we like to say. I'm in my 70's and belong to The largest outdoor range in the state which boasts a 600 Yard range as well as many others. I'm a target shooter. I have a Colt "M45A1" which is the Government model built for the Marines. Also own a Springfield Army "Squad Scout" .308/7.62. And of course a"Colt AR15 5.56.
I'm a Vietnam Veteran and was in Country from 1966 thru 1967. I carried an M14/A1 full auto with a pistol grip stock and Bipod. My 2nd weapon was a good old fashion "Duper" or..M79 Grenade Launcher. So I have been around firearms most of my life.
My other passion is my wife and kids as I call her...My 65 Corvette powered by a GM ZZ 502 BB with a 5 speed tranny. Might as well call her my wife as I have thrown allot of money at her since 1979.
Anyway, that's two passions that keep me going. I'm sure when I get my X Model I'll have some questions from you Lever Experts. It's good to be on Board.
Thanks Guys....Stay Safe.
Mark

Hey Mark. Welcome from Nebraska. I expect you will love that X. And your hot rod sounds like a lot of fun too. Enjoy your Henry.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Welcome from Michigan. I prefer wood with my steel and I am hoping for a side load CCH 357 to be produced. Hope your wait on your X is a short one.

You don't have to get your reply notifications via email though. Any topic that you have posted on, will show a number in red next to ' notifications' at the top of the screen when you log on. Just click on that and go.
Thanks for the avatar explanation.
