After the docs visit I may be back on Oreo's, I hope. :D
Nope. After the surgeon clipped off and withdrew the stitches, (there were a lot more than I thought. Maybe six or eight),
I went to my Dentist to refit the plates, and (Dr Mengele) shoved them in over the open wounds left from the stitches, and I
am on soft foods again.

Never knew how much I would miss a quarter pounder and fries.

It's a cool 64° on the mountain , and going to 76°. Not to bad. 1st cup of coffee down, and it's my turn to cook. No big plans today. We are taking a rest day off.
If got some range plans today. That's it. Cheers

A high of 84 is expected today, right now it is 64 and partly cloudy. Might take the 1860 out today. Everybody have a great day!

69 this morning under a mostly sunny sky .... well after midnight another strong thunderstorm passed south of us .... this time it was close enough to where we could hear the steady rumble of thunder .... we did get some light rain .... its supposed to get up to 85 later today with a 20% chance of rain .... getting ready to sit down to breakfast, not much on tap

Overcast and temps in the 50's. Tea in the Henry mug then out for breakfast with the wife.

This soft food diet is killing me. Carol ate a Steak Burger in front of me yesterday. :(
Coffee and custard this morning. I am now enjoying a V8.

I WANT BACON AND EGGS!

Supposed to be in the high eighties today and it looks like rain.
Tomorrow is predicted to be the hottest of this currant heat wave.
Nineties.
Oh well, I can stay in and drink V8.

93 now. Got a VA appt. today for a hearing test & hopefully new hearing aids. Left one died months ago, which, of course, was my worst year. Hope to get 2 new ones. Yrs. age on these.

Survived the VA trip, got 2 new hearing aids ordered, should be in in a couple of weeks. Got the last ones in 2007. Been a while.
The Audiologist was a very pretty, nice young lady. That helped too.

62° going to 80° on the mountain today. 1st cup of dark roast down. Wife is feeling better, so she's going to cook breakfast. We're going to take a drive to the lake today, just to get out a bit. Cheers.

VFW Mug with coffee this morning. Still on soft diet so I had a dish of custard.
I WANT BACON AND EGGS!
Got all the yard work done yesterday but still need to grade the driveway due to heavy rains a couple weeks ago.
Probably not today though. Supposed to be the hottest day of the year. Mid 90s.
Mosquitoes are getting pretty bad right now. Have to carry a shot gun to fend off the big ones.
