I Turned Cookies Off

Post by Sir Henry » Sat Jul 04, 2020 12:34 am

After turning cookies off I discovered I can not use most websites. I can not log into Facebook anymore because they want to track me 24/7.

The good news is this site works fine with cookies turned off.

Good for you. I dont do facebook... I grew up in an "ancient" world without it , and figure on going out the same way. A simple quiet life makes it easier for me to "hear" the things that are actually important. Thats my story and i'm sticking to it.

I liked Facebook. My friends there were people I saw almost daily or had known most of my life.

What I didn’t like was they recently started tracking me 24/7/365. I don’t need the world to know where I’m at all the time. I have actually started leaving my cell phone at home because of the tracking. However without allowing cookies I can not log in and if I don’t log in they can not track me. Actually I don’t have the program on my phone anymore.

Took FB off my phone as well. I only use FB on my desktop to keep in touch with family, and I certainly don't need a mobile version.

It works ok for my needs. I refuse to use Goggle anything, they track you and sell your information.
