Moscow Mule before dinner. Smoked a pork shoulder roast overnight. Ended up cooking 15 hours. It sure was tasty with a pot of beans and a Modelo with dinner. Hope your day was good.

Well, I had the oral surgery yesterday morning and am off solid food for a while. The nurse actually said
I needed lots of liquids and I asked if beer would be OK. She said yes. :D

I bet that AP tasted might good after doing lawn work. Just finished off some Dewar's. Don't think I'll go for seconds tonight. I've got to get to bed early so I can get up early tomorrow morning and get the road grime off the Goldwing before the heat sets in.

Had my usual Dewar's last night. Son and daughter-in-law are in from Omaha. Nice to have them here. First time here for the daughter-in-law. We've met a three or four times in Bartlesville at my mom's.

Had a couple of Moscow Mules last night while the neigborhood was lit up with the last of the fireworks. They have been setting fireworks off for a month here. Signs on the streets say 2K fines minimum for illegal fireworks. Yet they have been set off for a month. Im getting a little tired of it.

Yeah, there were a lot more going off around here last night than previous years. They went later too. Still going off when I went to bed at 11:00 pm.
